Associate Structural Engineer

Overview

As an Associate Structural Engineer in Bristol, you will lead the Structures team within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will shape the technical direction, oversee a portfolio of projects across residential, healthcare, education, social housing and industrial sectors, and develop lasting client relationships. You’ll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other disciplines to deliver high-impact designs. Responsibilities

• Lead the Structures team and manage a diverse project portfolio
• Oversee projects from concept through to completion

Key requirements

• Chartered with IStructE or ICE
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of engineers and technicians
• Strong project management skills across multiple sectors
• Solid technical design experience in steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to win work and maintain relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines
