Staff Product Manager, Deel IT

Overview

In this role you will own the Operations product surface for Deel IT, shaping automation across the device lifecycle, logistics, and supplier networks. You will work with cross-functional partners to diagnose, prioritise, and deliver high-impact automation and platform enhancements. You’ll translate complex operations into clear roadmaps and use AI to accelerate decision-making and execution. This is a high-autonomy, high-ownership role in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on measurable impact and cost savings. You’ll join a mission to streamline global operations and unlock supplier capacity at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the Operations product surface with autonomous decision-making and a defensible roadmap
• Diagnose and prioritise using data from backlog, logistics, IT support, supplier feedback, and financial impact
• Drive end-to-end automation of manual workflows across operations and supplier networks
• Define and track key metrics (delivery rates, IT response times, revenue per headcount) and build proactive dashboards
• Translate complex, cross-functional problems into well-scoped work for engineering
• Utilize AI actively for research, synthesis, and decision-making, implementing prompt engineering where applicable
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and suppliers to ensure alignment and rapid iteration
• Shape scale and resilience of platforms handling logistics, device lifecycle, and supplier onboarding

Key requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 1 year at Staff PM level or equivalent
• Builder mindset with ability to tackle loosely defined problems and operate without a predefined roadmap
• Fast-iterative mentality in a high-growth environment
• Systems thinker who can connect logistics, IT, finance, and supplier networks
• Execution-focused, detail-oriented, and able to deliver with clarity under pressure
• Data fluent with ability to perform self-driven analysis using SQL and data platforms
• Active AI user with practical examples of applying AI in work
