Are you an experienced Warehouse professional ready to take the next step into a management role? We are hiring a Warehouse & Dispatch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse in Bangor.
This full-time position is ideal for someone who can confidently lead a team, keep warehouse operations organised and efficient, and is equally comfortable getting stuck in on the warehouse floor when required.
You’ll be joining a well-established operation where you’ll play a key role in managing the warehouse team, overseeing dispatch, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
This is a hands-on management position where you’ll have the opportunity to drive efficiency, improve processes and make a real impact on the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Position Details
- Role: Warehouse & Dispatch Manager
- Location: Bangor
- Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
- Leading, supporting and organising the warehouse team
- Planning workloads and ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
- Managing kit building and hose assembly processes, including output and staffing
- Monitoring stock movements and supporting accurate stock control
- Ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Maintaining high standards of general warehouse housekeeping
- Managing ad hoc warehouse requirements as they arise
- Ensuring health & safety is considered at all times and company policies are followed
- Reporting to senior management on warehouse operations and performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and warehouse processes
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environmen
- Valid forklift licence
- Clean driving licence
- Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse team
- A responsible and reliable attitude
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Good IT skills
- Ability to prioritise your own workload and that of others
- Good time management and organisational skills
