A well established and growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its expanding defendant personal injury team. The role offers the opportunity to handle a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive and commercially focused environment.

n

This position would suit a motivated Solicitor with experience in Road Traffic Accident and or Credit Hire litigation who is looking to take the next step in their career within a firm that values quality work, collaboration and long term development.

The Role

n

You will act as a trusted advisor to a range of clients, delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice and managing matters efficiently from start to finish.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
• Managing a caseload of litigated and pre litigated RTA and credit hire matters

n

• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other court documentation

n

• Negotiating settlements and liaising with clients, insurers and counsel

n

• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedural rules

n

• Providing clear, timely and commercially focused advice throughout the lifecycle of a claim

n

• Representing clients robustly and professionally in legal proceedings

n

• Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team

n

n

About You

n

You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a solid background in Personal Injury and RTA work.

n

n
• 2+ years PQE

n

• Experience handling small, fast, intermediate and multi track matters

n

• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills

n

• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a wider team

n

• A proactive, organised and detail focused approach to case management

n

• Confidence working to deadlines and under pressure

n
