Linux Security Engineer

Overview

In this role, you will strengthen and oversee information security across the company’s AWS cloud, web and mobile platforms. You’ll advise IT on security strategy, design and operate the security environment, and manage risks throughout projects and operations. You will work within a fast-growing, open-source–driven fintech context and have genuine influence on security decisions and posture. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to balance stakeholder needs and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT and information security guidance across the full stack, from AWS cloud to mobile platforms
• Design, implement and manage the IT security environment and related services and applications
• Identify, manage and remediate IT security risks during project design and operational running
• Advise and assure IT security in projects, balancing stakeholder needs and delivering secure outcomes
• Operate in a fast-growing, autonomy-rich environment and influence security strategy across the business

Key requirements

• CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of data leakage, vulnerability management and threat assessment
• Policy experience
