Project Engineer – HS2

Location: Aylesbury

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering delivery across complex earthworks packages, ensuring technical compliance, buildability, and efficient sequencing.
• Manage engineering documentation, QA, and technical assurance.
• Review designs, temporary works, and method statements.
• Lead inspections and ensure compliance with HS2 standards.
• Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and client teams.
• Support programme development, risk management, and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance to Site Engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering background on major civils projects.
• Experience managing engineering delivery for earthworks or structures.
• Solid understanding of temporary works and geotechnical interfaces.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
