Data, Analytics & Reporting Analyst – Data Engineering Team

Overview

In this role you will join the Data Engineering team to shape data, analytics and reporting for investment oversight, research, portfolio construction and manager selection. You will partner with Coverage Analysts and Investment Strategy & Research to translate business needs into data solutions and models. You will own data quality, automate critical workflows and develop innovative analytical capabilities, enabling insightful decision-making. You will collaborate across global teams and may apply AI/ML techniques to enhance offerings. This opportunity allows you to influence investment decisions at scale in a cross-functional, client-focused firm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coverage Analysts, Investment Strategy & Research and Multi-Manager Solutions to translate analytical needs into data solutions, models and reporting
• Support research discussions and project planning aligning data capabilities with investment priorities
• Source, validate, and maintain investment data across platforms, ensuring quality and reliable feeds
• Build and enhance quantitative models, analytics tools and performance attribution systems including backtesting and scenario analysis
• Automate recurring analytical and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and timeliness of reports and dashboards
• Design and maintain dashboards and visualisations for decision-useful information
• Apply governance practices with documentation, version control and validation protocols
• Evaluate new technologies including AI/ML and support product development and market research through data analysis

Key requirements

• Experience in data analytics, quantitative development or reporting within investment management or financial services
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field
• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL with experience with database platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and locations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work to deadlines
