Associate Director – Project Controls & Performance

In this Programme Advisory role, you help clients by shaping and delivering tailored controls and performance solutions for complex projects. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess environments, design fit-for-purpose controls, and drive tangible client outcomes. You’ll lead workshops, document findings, and contribute to continuous improvement and business development. Responsibilities

• Assess client environments and challenges to tailor our structured solution approach
• Define and document findings and recommendations across engagement stages
• Lead workshops in virtual and in-person settings with client stakeholders
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams on client sites and remotely
• Tailor established methodologies, tools, and systems to client context
• Support personal development and independent work on client and internal initiatives
• Drive internal transformation products and approaches within the team
• Lead business generation activities such as bids and proposals
• Engage in marketing and employee advocacy initiatives where appropriate
• Provide line management and development for direct reports as applicable

Key requirements

• >3 years’ experience in Project Controls
• Experience on major capital projects/programmes in PMO/controls & performance (schedule, cost, risk, change or performance reporting) in infrastructure sectors including defence, nuclear, rail, airport, highways, utilities
• Familiarity with capability/maturity assessments across capital delivery, PMO, controls & performance
• Experience developing controls & performance integrated processes and digital solutions for decision making
• Ability to write/present reports and navigate complex stakeholder environments up to C-suite
• Proficiency with Office 365, Visio, Miro, Slack, Teams; experience with Oracle Primavera, PRISM, Power BI or similar
• Desirable Master’s degree or equivalent experience
