Residential & Commercial Property Lawyer (5+ years PQE)

As a Residential & Commercial Property Lawyer, you will undertake a varied caseload whilst contributing to the firm’s compliance and quality objectives.Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of
residential and commercial property matters
from instruction through to completionHandle:
Freehold and leasehold sales and purchasesRemortgagesTransfers of equityCommercial acquisitions and disposalsDevelopment and property finance matters
Act as a key contact for property-related compliance and risk management mattersSupport the firm’s
Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
obligations and reporting requirementsConduct file audits and quality reviewsEnsure adherence to lender panel requirements and conveyancing protocolsMentor and support junior members of the teamAssist with process improvement initiatives and departmental developmentContribute towards the firm’s strategic growth plansAbout You
To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess:Essential Requirements
Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (FCILEx) or Licensed ConveyancerMinimum 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent post-qualification experience)Strong experience within
UK residential conveyancingExposure to
commercial property transactionsAbility to independently manage a busy and varied caseloadStrong knowledge of:
Land Registry proceduresSDLT requirementsLender panel requirementsAML and compliance obligationsRisk management and file handling procedures
Excellent client relationship and communication skillsDesirable Experience
Previous involvement with
