Anchor Group Services is recruiting fora Cleaning Supervisor at The Elephant, a landmark mixed-use development at theheart of Elephant & Castle. Bringing together retail, residential andpublic spaces, The Elephant is set to become a vibrant destination whereresidents, visitors, retailers and communities come together.

About the Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you willplay a key role in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness,presentation and customer service across The Elephant. Leading and supporting ateam of Cleaning and Waste Operatives, you will oversee daily cleaningoperations, conduct inspections and quality audits, and ensure a clean, safeand welcoming environment for residents, visitors and occupiers.
You will lead by example, supportingthe Dual Services Manager to drive high standards, develop team performance,and ensure all cleaning activities are delivered in line with site proceduresand health & safety requirements.
Duties Include:
- Lead, supervise and motivate the cleaning team todeliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customerservice across the development.
- Organise staff rotas and daily deployment,arranging cover for sickness, holidays and other absences to maintainoperational continuity.
- Carry out cleaning duties and support the team asrequired, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standard.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits,providing guidance and support to ensure service standards are consistentlyachieved.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety,COSHH, and site-specific procedures.
- Respond to customer requests, complaints andoperational issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor cleaning equipment, consumables and stocklevels, reporting any faults, shortages or maintenance requirements.
- Complete all required records, audits andcompliance documentation accurately, supporting the smooth operation of thecleaning service.
- Work closely with Security, Maintenance andManagement teams to support site operations and service excellence.
- Completeany other reasonable duties as requested by management
Requirements
- Previous cleaning, facilities or soft servicessupervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards and methods.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation andCOSHH requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate, develop and manage teamseffectively.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits andquality checks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused approach and confidence managingcomplaints professionally.
- Flexibleapproach to working hours including weekends.
