Associate Sales Engineer – UK South

Overview

As part of Grundfos, you will apply technical and commercial expertise to grow the customer base in the Southwest Water region. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor pump solutions for critical infrastructure and help communities access reliable water. In this role you support strategic growth plans, nurture partnerships, and drive product trials and service offerings. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Area Sales Manager to drive sales and execute growth plans
• Negotiate B2B orders with water utilities’ OPEX teams and identify replacement opportunities
• Visit sites, run surveys with Energy teams, and co-create tailored pump solutions
• Drive product development through trials and secure operational acceptance
• Maintain local CRM, pricing support, and monitor KPIs to meet budget
• Provide product knowledge, application guidance, and troubleshooting across stakeholders

Key requirements

• Experience in Water Utility industry in a sales or technical role
• 0–3 years of sales experience in water process products
• Technical knowledge of pumping and wastewater equipment used in water industry
• Qualifications in Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills
