Bivonas Law LLP is seeking a talented Associate with 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience to join its Dispute Resolution Team. The successful candidate will have solid experience working on commercial litigation and civil fraud matters and shall work directly with partners on high-value, complex and often multi-jurisdictional disputes, taking substantial day-to-day conduct of matters while receiving appropriate mentoring.

RESPONSABILITIES
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation and civil fraud matters, including cases involving asset tracing, freezing injunctions, search orders and third-party disclosure orders.
- Conduct detailed factual and documentary investigations in cases involving voluminous documents and extensive electronic disclosure.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications and correspondence, and assist in preparing cases for trial and interim hearings.
- Liaise directly with clients, counsel, experts and other advisers, including in urgent, time-critical situations such as obtaining or defending injunctions.
- Contribute to matters with an international or cross-border dimension, working alongside the firm’s network of overseas lawyers and experts.
- Assist with the strategic and commercial evaluation of cases from the outset, helping clients make informed decisions as matters progress.
- Support business development activity, including attendance at networking events and contributing to thought leadership and client pitches.
- Supervise and support the development of more junior fee-earners as required.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–6 years’ PQE.
- Strong academic record, degree or equivalent.
- Excellent demonstrable experience in commercial litigation and civil fraud matters.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical ability, with sound commercial judgement and attention to detail when handling complex, document-heavy matters.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a small, collegiate team.
- Experience of multi-jurisdictional or cross-border disputes.
- Exposure to financial services litigation, banking disputes, trust disputes or proceeds of crime litigation.
