An excellent opportunity for an experienced Faade Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major construction project. This Faade Manager role offers a long-term freelance contract of 12 months+, overseeing multiple high-value faade packages while working as part of an established project delivery team on a flagship development.
About the Role of Faade Manager
As Faade Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of five faade packages with a combined value of up to 7 million. Working closely with the Project Director, Senior Construction Manager, design teams, and specialist subcontractors, you will drive programme, quality, safety, and commercial objectives throughout the faade installation process.

Responsibilities for Faade Manager
- Managing the delivery of five faade packages valued up to 7m * Coordinating faade subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements * Monitoring installation quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications * Managing interface coordination between faade, structure, and internal fit-out teams * Reviewing technical drawings, design information, and installation methodologies * Conducting inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the installation process * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across all faade-related activities * Reporting progress, risks, and programme updates to the senior project team
Requirements for Faade Manager
- Proven experience working as a Faade Manager on major construction projects * Previous experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor is essential * Strong understanding of curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and faade installation packages * Experience managing multiple faade subcontractors simultaneously * Ability to coordinate design, programme, and site delivery requirements * SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualification preferred * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
