Part-Time Facilities & Maintenance Assistant

Durham County Council is seeking a part-time Property Assistant for Aycliffe Secure Centre in Newton Aycliffe. The role supports the Property Officer and ensures the premises are clean, safe and compliant, with responsibilities for building systems and routine maintenance.

You will work 14.5 hours per week, including weekends on a rota, and help keep the site compliant with health and safety regulations. A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong communication are essential.
