Teaching& SENCO Support Assistant

30hours per week (term time only 38 weeks)
We are seeking to appoint anenthusiastic Teaching & SENCO Support Assistant to provide day to daysupport to the SENCO and workwith a range of pupils with specific additional educational needs across thecurriculum.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Deliver structured interventions and support programmes as outlined in the EHCP
- Support the pupil’s social, emotional and academic development
- Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, class teacher, and wider support staff
- Monitor and record progress against EHCP outcomes
The IdealCandidate Will:
- Have experience working with children with SEND
- Be patient, nurturing and resilient
- Have a good understanding of EHCPs and targeted interventions
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
- Be committed to supporting inclusion and positive outcomes for all pupils
