Sr. Business Analyst, Global Tax Data

Overview

In this role you will drive data-driven reconciliation and analysis to support monthly tax compliance cycles. You will partner with tax, finance tech, and accounting teams to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across global operations. You will own data quality investigations, root-cause analysis, and process improvements, turning complex datasets into actionable insights. This position emphasizes hands-on analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering reliable data packages for audits and reporting. You will operate in a high-impact environment focused on data integrity, automation opportunities, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly tax data reconciliation across source systems, tax reporting warehouses, and general ledger to resolve discrepancies
• Analyze data quality issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions with upstream and downstream teams
• Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and metrics for reconciliation health and data readiness
• Own and manage SIM tickets and intake workflows with timely responses for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with compliance teams to translate reporting requirements into data specifications
• Document standard operating procedures, runbooks, and process flows for recurring activities
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce cycle time, and improve data quality
• Support audit data requests by extracting, validating, and delivering data packages to auditors and tax authorities
• Participate in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and contribute to operational readiness activities

Key requirements

• Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
