Senior Associate – Real Estate Future Energy

You will handle drafting, due diligence, and financing of clean energy projects while coordinating with cross-functional colleagues. You’ll manage client files, develop relationships, and contribute to business growth within a top-tier Legal 500 team. Responsibilities

• Draft option agreements and leases for clean energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage, EVs, hydro)
• Undertake due diligence including title reviews, enquiries, and searches
• Assist with financing and large-scale acquisitions/disposals involving cross-disciplinary teams
• Manage own files with early responsibility for transaction delivery and client contact
• Provide support for landlord and tenant work, corporate, and public sector work
• Maintain and develop client relationships and identify business development opportunities
• Adhere to firm procedures to deliver high-quality client service and help meet budget targets

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor
• 3-6 years PQE in real estate
• Experience with future energy sector is desirable
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with some business development exposure
• Ability to understand client needs and act in clients and firms best interests
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to develop junior team members
