Overview
In this role you design and deliver innovative technology solutions that transform Real Estate operations for Deloittes IM&W ODS practice. You work with stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security. You provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle and mentor junior team members. You will stay ahead of industry trends, especially cloud, AI/ML, and data analytics, to drive real estate innovation. Responsibilities
- Design and architect innovative technology solutions to transform Real Estate operations
- Provide design governance, quality assurance, and design reviews to keep programs on track
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Define and document solution architectures (infrastructure, applications, data, integration)
- Own architectural artefacts such as high-level designs, reference architectures, and integration designs
- Evaluate technologies and platforms for scalability, performance, security, cost
- Provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle
- Stay abreast of trends in cloud, AI/ML, automation, and data analytics for Real Estate
- Mentor junior team members and support career progression
- Contribute to thought leadership on Real Estate technology trends
- Champion diversity and inclusion and contribute to practice development
- Lead business development activities including pre-sales, bids, and client presentations
- Participate in practice development activities to grow the Real Estate practice
Key requirements
- Proven experience as Solution Architect or Technical Business Analyst in Real Estate with delivery of complex technology solutions
- Deep understanding of Real Estate lifecycle and tech landscape (e.g., Yardi, MRI)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data management, APIs, microservices, and security
- Ability to analyze options, gather consensus, and drive decisions with business and IT stakeholders
- Experience with third-party vendors and vendor relationship management
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps; experience with on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- Preferably experience implementing AI-driven solutions in Real Estate
- Experience selecting or implementing Real Estate tech (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Yavica)
