Barista- Caf
Near Reading –Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm – Ongoing Position -hourly rate 13.00
We are currently recruiting for a Barista to join a friendly caf team based at a prestigious educational site just outside Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Barista or someone with caf experience looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with no weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Operating coffee machines and handling cash/card transactions
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food items
- Ensuring the caf is well-stocked and presented throughout service
Requirements
- Previous Barista or caf experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Good communication skills
Important Information
As this position is based within an educational setting, candidates must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting work.
