Main responsibilities:

• Supervise welders and welding activities on site.
• Ensure welding is carried out according to approved procedures (WPS).
• Check that welders are using the correct materials, consumables and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety requirements.
• Coordinate daily welding work with supervisors and other trades.
• Monitor welding quality and ensure required inspections/NDT are completed.
• Maintain welding records and documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow RAMS/method statements.
• Report defects, unsafe conditions and progress to the site management.
• Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule and quality requirements.
