About the role
Are you looking for an exciting and varied role? the successful applicant will be working a fast paced team and will provide high-quality support to the Housing Landlord Team and the Director of Housing and Environment. Enabling them to ensure the successful delivery of housing related activities in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse councils.
Essential criteria for the role
- 5 GCSEs at grades A-C including English and Mathematics or an equivalent level of qualification.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially MS Office (Outlook and excel)
- Ability to act under own initiative
- Ability to prioritise work, plan and work to deadline
Key responsibilities for the role
- Arranging meetings as required, including minute taking
- Managing correspondence for the Housing Landlord Team, logging enquiries, re-directing to or gathering information from other teams
- Providing support with the various tenant email inboxes, responding to tenant or re-directing emails to other teams
- Draft documents, such as policies, procedures and reports. (including collating and interpreting data) for the Housing Landlord Team and Director of Housing and Environment
- Provide ad hoc cover for the Property and Tenancy Officers/Assistants as requested, including raising and coding purchase orders
- Assist with the updating of the Housing Landlord website pages for both councils
