We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Procurement Administrator to join a well-established Multi-College Trust in West London on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.
The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with approximately two days per week working remotely from home.
This is a great opportunity for someone with procurement or purchasing administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a public sector education organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the procurement team.
- Assist with tendering and procurement exercises, including maintaining documentation and records.
- Support the creation and maintenance of procurement templates and processes.
- Raise and manage purchase orders and assist with supplier administration.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and databases.
- Support compliance with procurement policies and the Procurement Act.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
- Assist with reporting, spend analysis and procurement documentation.
- Help ensure procurement activities are delivered efficiently and on time.
About You
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or procurement administration.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience within the public sector or education sector would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and the Procurement Act is desirable.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work at pace.
