Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor the pipeline network via SCADA and other control systems. Act as a central point of contact for routine, abnormal, and emergency pipeline scenarios. Liaise with shippers, scheduling teams, pipeline technicians, and maintenance staff to coordinate operations safely and efficiently. Record, monitor, and report alarm conditions, near misses, and incidents to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Shift Pattern (24/7 Operations) 5-week rotating shift pattern: – Week 1: 3 days, 3 nights, 11 off – Week 2: 4 days, 6 off – Week 3: 4 nights, 4 off – Repeat In addition to rest days built into the pattern, youll have 11 days of annual leave to book as preferred. About You Were looking for a detail-oriented and calm individual with proven experience in a similar operational or industrial environment. Essential: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience in a pipeline, despatcher, or control room role Exposure to industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water, or Hazardous Materials Control systems experience (preferably SCADA) Strong IT literacy and analytical decision-making skills Excellent communication under pressure A proactive and safety-conscious mindset Additional Requirements: Full UK driving licence – site is not accessible via public transport
