£13 phFULL TIME roleJob SummaryThe Quality Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This position involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of HACCP principles.ResponsibilitiesOverview of arrivals, on production lines and on despatch; ensuring product is correctly packed and is within specificationCollaborating closely with the Online Qc, Line leader to maintain quality standards and Grade outsManaging workload according to daily ordersMonitoring shelf-life, any customer samples and carrying out associated testingCompleting any necessary documentation in compliance with any requirementsMaintaining excellent levels of hygiene standardsWorking closely with on site Management team and 3rd party Management teamMonitoring the productivity of our Production Operatives, providing training, support and feedback to drive improved performance at our 3rd party packing operationsGive quality feedback to Management team and CustomersFollowing up any rejections, investigation and complete any necessary documentationSkills:Previous experience of working in a fresh produce environment with responsibility for monitoring product quality would be a strong advantageExcellent attention to detailUnderstanding of and adherence to health and safety protocols and food hygiene standardsThe ability to interpret and follow written and spoken instructionsRespect for others and values diversity; happy to listen and work as part of a small teamA can-do attitude with a flexible and dynamic approachThe ability to use own initiative and thrives under pressureA basic understanding of stock control systems
