HGV Class 1 C+E Driver

Driver Hire Lincoln is currently looking for dependable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established client in Horncastle, supporting their general haulage operations. This is a long-term, ongoing position with an immediate start available for the right candidates.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• No major endorsements (maximum of 6 penalty points)
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
• A reliable, positive attitude with a flexible and professional approach to work

Pay:

• £17.56 per hour (first 8 hours)
• £23.41 per hour (after 8 hours)
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Engaged on PAYE Advanced

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete between 1 and 5 deliveries each day across local and nationwide routes
• Ensure goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and all necessary paperwork
• Communicate effectively with the transport office, customers, and other relevant parties
• Ensure all road safety, legal, and operational requirements are followed
