HGV Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive commercial vehicle specialist based in the Preston area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45000 with rotational working hours.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

• £2,500 joining bonus (upon successful completion of probation)
• 23 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase more

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
