Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and off the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced Assembly Fitter to join their growing team.
- Working with various materials using a variety of techniques such as deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures to build and fit complex parts
- Using a variety of power and pneumatic tools such as grinders, cutters, drills, saws, and torque wrenches to assemble parts
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous assembly/fitting experience in precision engineering
- Aerospace Experience would be desirable
- Previous background of working with small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, etc
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to use handheld, power, and pneumatic tools, such as; grinders, cutters, drills, saws, torque wrenches, etc
- Experience in welding, deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures
- Previous experience with CNC Machining would also be advantageous
