Resident Advisor is an independent platform for electronic music culture, offering event discovery, ticketing, news, long-form editorial, artist profiles, original films, and a weekly mix series. Its web platform serves around 7 million people each month, with a wider audience across its apps and other channels.

Задачи:

• Lead the technical design of larger features, including specifications that align iOS and Android on the same APIs
• Own areas of the codebase and safely modernise older parts
• Improve release quality through automated UI tests on native frameworks, crash analysis, and monitoring
• Review code and mentor other developers
• Work with the web and platform teams on the APIs the app depends on
• Help shape how the team uses AI in development and where it should not be used

Требования:

• Several years of experience building and releasing iOS apps used at scale
• Deep experience with Swift, app architecture, and refactoring live code
• Testing and coding practices that support stable app releases
• Ability to improve other developers through review, pairing, and clear explanations
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to product and design teams in plain language
• Будет плюсом: SwiftUI, reactive programming, GraphQL, A/B testing, phased rollouts, data tracking, monitoring tools such as Datadog, Android or cross-platform experience, an interest in electronic music and the scenes RA serves
