Food Production Operative with Counterbalance

Location: Corby

Salary: £34,705, rising to £40,830 following 5 month probationary period

Our Corby-based client has a vacancy within their Production Team, with potential for an immediate start.

Main criteria required to be considered for this role are:

• Current counterbalance FLT licence – essential – we would need to see a copy of this prior to interview.
• Current Pivot Steer FLT licence – desirable
• Current PPT licences – desirable
• Food production environment experience – preferrable
• Reasonable standard of IT skills – Microsoft package – emails, in house stock systems – essential
• Able and motivated to lift loads up to 25kgs – essential
• Able and motivated to work our Panama style shift pattern essential
• Excellent communication skills -essential

The role does require lifting / carrying / decanting from 25kg bags / boxes of powdered material.

Manual Handling aids are provided, but it can be classed as a heavy lifting role at times.

Shift pattern and weekly hours

The average weekly hours will be 42 per week working a continental shift system of 12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights on the below pattern:

• Week 1 2 days on – 2 days off – 3 nights on
• Week 2 2 days off – 2 days on – 3 days off
• Week 3 2 nights on – 2 days off – 3 days on
• Week 4 2 days off – 2 nights on – 3 days off
