Finance Process & Controls Manager (12-Month FTC)

We’re supporting a large, established organisation with the appointment of a Finance Process & Controls Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied leadership role within a busy finance function, combining team management, financial control, process ownership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing a small finance team
• Overseeing key month-end and financial reporting activities
• Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures
• Managing accounting processes across multiple business areas
• Supporting audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and automate processes
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Helping the team navigate ongoing change and transformation initiatives

About You:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong financial control and reporting experience
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
