As a Care Assistant, you will deliver person-centred care tailored to each Service User, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care according to Care/Support Plans
- Administer medication safely in line with policies
- Build strong, respectful relationships with Service Users
- Communicate effectively with families and professionals
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Supporting individuals in their own homes
- Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing, moving & handling)
- Preparing meals and supporting with shopping
- Light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry
- Supporting access to appointments and social activities
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes
- Supporting with finances where required
- Assisting with pet care
- Maintaining a safe and respectful home environment
