Job Description CNC Programmer (Sheet Metal) n Based South of Warrington, my client is a leading sheet metal manufacturing company who are market leaders in their field. They rarely recruit due to their excellent work environment, o n offer is a salary of £40,000 – £47,500, 33 holidays, pension, life assurance and an early finish at lunchtime every Friday. This is a Monday to Friday (38 hr week) based position with no shift work. n My client is offering a secure, well paid and exciting job for the rest of your career with a focus on having a good work life balance. n To be considered you must have proven experience programming CNC laser cutting AND/OR punching machines within a sheet metal manufacturing environment and strong working knowledge of sheet metal software i.e. RADAN, SigmaNEST or JETCAM. n Role – CNC Programmer (RADAN) n n Produce and optimise CNC programs for laser cutting and punching machines using sheet metal software (RADAN). n Create efficient nests to maximise material utilisation and minimise waste. n Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files and customer specifications. n Maintain and develop the part libraries, tooling libraries and manufacturing database to ensure programming consistency, accuracy and efficiency. n Ensure all programs are production-ready and meet quality requirements. n Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times, improve machine utilisation and enhance production processes. n Troubleshoot programming and production issues to minimise downtime. n n For a confidential conversation regarding this CNC Programmer job contact James Coulter.
