About the Role
The Governors of Finch Woods Academy are seeking to appoint a Middle School Class Teacher (two posts)
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and a proven ability to adapt teaching and learning to meet a diverse range of communication, sensory, social, emotional, and learning needs.
Personal Qualities
The successful candidate will be a caring, enthusiastic and resilient practitioner with a positive outlook, excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to collaborative working. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH. The ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs, promote pupil progress and maintain high professional standards is essential.
