Job Description:

This role will allow you to effectively manage end-to-end projects within agreed timescales, whilst maintaining a high level of proficiency in working with raw data and demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. This role requires you to produce impactful, data-driven reports using Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, Copilot, and the use of internal systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate provision of information that enables the leadership team to make informed decisions and fulfil their responsibilities in delivering an excellent service.

What your week may look like

  • Management of data governance process for You Matter Services.
  • Provide clear and accurate data transformation from raw reports into usable reporting formats.
  • Ensure data quality assurance and make sure that data is accurate and free from errors and always of a high standard.
  • Identification and investigation of issues relayed to systems master data – taking corrective action where appropriate
  • Checking, updating and maintaining internal system information
  • Involvement in activities such as data collection, cleansing, migration and testing where appropriate.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure that communications and relations are effective.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring process documentation is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Understanding internal systems and service processes.
  • Production of high-quality and detailed reports to a high standard of accuracy for You Matter leadership team and external commissioners.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to data management, with the ability to extract, analyse, and interpret information from multiple systems to produce accurate, comprehensive, and meaningful data insights.
  • Effectively prioritise workload responding flexibly to changing deadlines, while maintaining high standards of performance and delivery. Also ensuring that demands are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities to the Leadership Team

  • To compile and collate monthly, quarterly & annual reports on organisational KPI’s.
  • To assist You Matter Quality Assurance team with audit information.
  • Helping You Matter services to comply with contractual requirements, including escalation where data is missing.
  • Attend regular supervision sessions with the Head of Data & Insight in accordance with the supervision contract.
  • Maintain good professional practice and ensure ongoing development, through use of supervision and training.
  • Respect the confidentiality of service users using the services and be responsible for the security of personal and confidential information.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns within data sets.
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Carry out all these duties within the organisation’s safety guidelines.

Representing You Matter

  • Attend stakeholder days, forums and other external events.
  • Develop relationships with partner agencies.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of internal systems and contractual KPI’s.

  • Contribute to the organisations formulation of policy and procedures in relation to the governance of Data.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, when required, to ensure good communications and liaison with colleagues around the data of their services.
  • Prepare for and attend supervision sessions with the Head of Data & Insight, taking direction as appropriate and contributing to the development of both you and You Matter services.
