Job Description n What you’ll do n n n n You’ll visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews on important topics like health, housing and transport. Using a tablet or laptop, you’ll guide conversations that capture real experiences of daily life in Britain.n n n n This is not a desk job. You’ll be out in your community, knocking on doors. People receive a letter beforehand, but they’re not always expecting you. Some won’t answer. Others will say no. That’s completely normal and part of the role.n n n n But when someone says yes and shares their story? You’ll know you’ve helped create change that improves people’s lives.n n n n n What you’ll earn n n n n £20-£30 per interview (typically), plus: • Admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%) • Travel time at £4.68/hour (most projects) for travel to the area you are working in • Mileage at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles) • £250 bonus after your launch, then £250 more at two months and four monthsn n n n n Average hourly rate: £15.12 (including holiday pay), with experienced interviewers earning more.n n n n n What you’ll need n n n n Essential: n n n • Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car n n n • Class 1 Business insurance n n n • Right to work in the UK n n n • Willingness to complete a DBS check n n n • Reliable home broadband n n n • Laptop or tablet with camera n n n • Comfortable using basic technology n n n • At least 18 hours available per week n n n • Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends n n n • Strong verbal and written Englishn n n n n n Personal qualities: n n n • Good at talking to peoplen n n • Friendly and professional n n n • Resilient and confident n n n • Self-motivated and independent n n n • Having good time management and prioritising skillsn n n n n n Who this suits n n n n This role is ideal if you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, admin, driving, sales or any customer-facing role.
