Job Description HGV Drivers – Refuse & Recycling Collectionn n Location: Local routes n Pay: £17.47 per hour (Weekdays) – Higher rates for weekends and overtime n Contract: Long-term, with the potential to become permanent n Blue Arrow is looking for reliable and experienced HGV Drivers to join our team for refuse and recycling collection across local routes. If you’re an HGV driver seeking a stable, long-term opportunity that could lead to a permanent role , apply today! n nKey Responsibilitiesn n n Drive along designated routes to collect refuse and recycling waste. n Check routes for safety restrictions, planned roadworks, and traffic to ensure smooth operations. n Complete all required paperwork, including job logs and incident reports. n Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. n Adhere to site rules and regulations, including correct PPE usage. n n nShift Detailsn n n Monday to Friday with potential evening and weekend overtime. n Choose between AM or PM shifts :n n AM Shifts: Start at 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 7:00 AM n PM Shifts: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM n n Approx. 6.5 hours per shift . n n nRequirementsn n n Valid HGV license. n Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience . n Ability to complete enhanced compliance checks (Right to Work, references, proof of address, National Insurance number, etc.). n Strong attention to safety and reliability. n n nReady to start your next long-term role as an HGV Driver with the potential to go permanent?
