Job Description Estimator – Construction South Gyle, Edinburgh | £30,000+ Basic + Holidays, Pension & Benefits n A well-established, growing contractor based in South Gyle is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some estimating or construction industry experience who is looking to develop their career with a supportive, close-knit business. n This is a predominantly office-based role, so you’ll be working from the South Gyle office day to day, with occasional travel required, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential. n The Role n n Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, from initial enquiry through to tender submission n Working closely with the CAD team to interpret drawings and specifications n Sourcing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors n Supporting the wider commercial team with measurement and take-offs n Building strong working relationships internally and with clients n n What We’re Looking For n n Some experience in an estimating, quantity surveying, or similar construction role is ideal, though this is a junior-level position and full training will be provided n Comfortable working with CAD packages, or willing to learn n Full UK driving licence and access to a car n Strong numeracy and attention to detail n A proactive, organised approach and good communication skills n n What’s on Offer n n £30,000+ basic salary, depending on experience n Holiday entitlement n Pension scheme n Genuine progression opportunities within a growing business n n If you’re looking to build a career in construction estimating with a business that will invest in your development, we’d love to hear from you. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
