Designers and installers work closely together, providing a supportive, collaborative environment for both clients and team members.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Sales Designer role based in Greater London. The Kitchen Sales Designer will meet with clients in the showroom and at project locations to understand their needs, lifestyles, and design preferences, translating them into bespoke kitchen layouts and detailed design proposals. Day-to-day tasks include creating design concepts and 3D plans, preparing quotations, presenting design solutions, and guiding clients through material, appliance, and finish selections. The role involves managing the sales process from initial enquiry to final order, coordinating with cabinet makers and installers, and ensuring designs are accurate, feasible, and aligned with Sola Kitchens’ quality standards. The Kitchen Sales Designer will also maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on leads, and contribute to the showroom’s visual presentation and overall client experience.Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Kitchen & Bath Design and Cabinetry, with experience creating detailed, bespoke layouts and specifications.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, present ideas clearly, and build trust with diverse clients.
- Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, handling objections, and closing design projects while maintaining a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD or similar kitchen design tools) and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Relevant experience in kitchen, interior, or furniture design; a qualification in interior design, architecture, or a related field is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple client projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in a showroom environment in Greater London and collaborating closely with designers, installers, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of Scandinavian design principles and high-end kitchen products is a plus, along with an interest in premium materials and craftsmanship.
