Project Engineer role within a manufacturing environment , rather than a traditional

Manufacturing Engineer

position focused on process improvement, manufacturing methods or continuous improvement activities.This

Manufacturing Project Engineer

role sits at the heart of project delivery, acting as the link between Project Management and Manufacturing Operations.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating projects through fabrication, machining, assembly, testing and final delivery, ensuring programme, quality and customer requirements are achieved.You’ll bring together manufacturing activities, project documentation, route cards, test plans, quality requirements and programme updates, ensuring projects continue moving through the factory and are delivered on time.This is a highly visible, fast-paced role and would suit a proactive individual who enjoys driving projects forward, coordinating multiple stakeholders and being close to manufacturing operations.The Manufacturing Project Engineer RoleCoordinating engineering projects through manufacturing.Managing project schedules, programme updates and documentation.Coordinating testing, inspection and customer deliverables.Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.Driving actions to ensure projects remain on track.Monitoring risks, bottlenecks and project progress.Supporting project reporting, cost control and change management.Acting as the key link between Project Management and production teams.The EnvironmentThis is a specialist engineering and manufacturing facility delivering complex engineered products into highly regulated industries.The business operates across:FabricationWeldingMachiningMechanical AssemblyInspection & TestingHeavy Engineering ProjectsYou’ll spend significant time working alongside operational teams to ensure projects move efficiently through manufacture and are delivered on time.What We’re Looking ForHNC in Mechanical Engineering as a MinimumMUST BE ABLE TO GAIN SECURITY CLEARANCEExperience as a Manufacturing Project Engineer, Project Engineer or similar.Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Strong project coordination and planning skills.Experience managing documentation, schedules, programme updates and project reporting.Ability to coordinate testing, inspection and manufacturing activities.Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.Organised, resilient and delivery-focused.Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining or assembly processes would be beneficial.Experience driving projects through manufacture would be highly advantageous.Salary & Benefits On Offer For
