Job Overview n We are looking for a PPM/Trainee Engineer with a mechanical, electrical or gas engineering background to attend client sites across the country and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial catering equipment. n The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment is operating correctly, safely and efficiently, while remaining compliant with UK health, safety and environmental legislation. n This is a physically demanding role and may involve: n n Working at heights using ladders or other access equipment. n Working outdoors throughout the year. n Travelling extensively across your designated region. n Carrying out hands-on maintenance and servicing of commercial catering equipment. n Key Responsibilities n n Attend client sites wearing company-branded clothing and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. n Carry out servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance of commercial catering equipment in accordance with agreed specifications. n Ensure all equipment is left in a clean, tidy and secure condition. n Identify and report any equipment defects to the relevant Site Manager and record them via the PDA system. n Report any Health & Safety concerns to the Site Manager and Network’s Health & Safety Manager. n Maintain accountability to the Business Manager. n Maintain day-to-day accountability to relevant client contacts. n Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. n Experience & Requirements Essentialn n Full UK driving licence. n Right to work in the UK. n Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn. n Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical work. n Willingness to travel 100% across your designated region as part of the role. n Desirablen n Previous experience working in an engineering or technical environment. n Electrical Installation Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. n A mechanical, electrical or gas engineering background. n Career Development n This role offers a clear development pathway into becoming a Field Service Engineer within the commercial catering equipment industry. n Through practical training, mentoring and ongoing support, you will develop the skills, knowledge and experience required to progress your engineering career.
