I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to lead and develop an established Tax function within an established professional services business.

This is a newly shaped leadership opportunity, with scope to develop the team, strengthen client relationships and take ownership of the department’s technical and commercial performance.

The role:

• Lead and develop a team of 5
• Manage senior client relationships and advisory work
• Act as the senior technical escalation point
• Drive WIP, recovery, pricing and profitability
• Identify and develop new advisory opportunities across the wider client base
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the Tax function

Candidate Profile:

• CTA qualified or equivalent
• Strong mixed-tax experience with a solid Corporation Tax background
• Professional services/accountancy practice experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and experience advising owner-managed or entrepreneurial businesses
• Hospitality or leisure experience would be advantageous
