Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a hands-on engineer for our client to help keep their production facility operating safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. n Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns, delivering planned preventative maintenance, and driving continuous improvement across the site. n Our client is the leading independently owned plant based drinks company in the UK. n The Role n As a Shift Engineer, you will: n n Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns. n Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime. n Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded using the CMMS. n Work closely with production teams to maximise equipment availability. n Support continuous improvement projects to improve plant reliability and efficiency. n Promote high standards of health & safety, food safety and quality. n Coach and support colleagues while contributing to a positive engineering culture. n n About You n n Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience. n Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturing (preferred). n Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. n A recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship, HND or equivalent). n Good organisational and communication skills. n A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement and teamwork. n n Salary & Benefits n n £51,510.48 n Premium overtime rates n 4 on, 4 off shift pattern n 23 shift holidays n Company pension n Enhanced company sick pay (subject to qualifying service) n Life insurance n Long service awards n Employee referral bonus n Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) n Local business discounts n Free hot drinks n * Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position *n n JBRP1_UKTJ
