Technical Programme Manager (Market Data)

Paragon Alpha – Hedge Fund Talent Business is recruiting a Technical Programme Manager to join a systematic hedge fund in London. The role will focus on driving the delivery of high‑performance, real‑time market data systems that support global trading.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of real‑time exchange feeds and third‑party market data applications.
• Partner with Market Data Development and Network Engineering to design and validate feed handlers and data distribution workflows.
• Gather connectivity requirements and coordinate with vendors/exchanges on new integrations.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning across global data centres to ensure performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Oversee delivery of mid‑frequency vendor feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE) and ensure production standards are met.
• Track environment readiness across compute, network, and storage.
• Confirm licensing requirements in collaboration with the Market Data team.
• Maintain clear, accurate system and deployment documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the trading or low‑latency systems domain.
