You’ve got a Quantity Surveying degree and at least 5 – 10 years in a similar role behind you.
You know JCT Design & Build and NEC contracts well enough that neither slows you down, and you’ve worked on projects with Tier 1 Main Contractors before.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading a team of Quantity Surveyors, trainees and support staff to hit turnover and margin targets
- Overseeing budget reviews, cost value reconciliations and KPI reporting to the Head of Commercial
- Guiding your team’s commercial leadership on-site and mentoring them toward qualifications
- Leading job start-up and preconstruction activity, managing risk from day one
- Handling full line management recruitment, reviews, leave, the lot
Where you’ll be doing it
This is a multi-disciplinary contractor with offices across the UK and Ireland, working across residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors. You’d be building and leading your own commercial team on one of the region’s most talked-about developments.
What you’ll need
- BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with JCT Design & Build and NEC contract forms
- Track record working on projects with Tier 1 Main Contractors
M&E or specialist contractor experience is a bonus, not a requirement if the rest fits, don’t rule yourself out.
