Were currently recruiting an experienced Commercial Facilities / Maintenance Plumber to join a leading Facilities Management contractor, working on a major manufacturing site in Belfast.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified plumber looking to move into, or continue within, a professional facilities environment while enjoying a Monday-to-Friday, days-only working pattern.
Youll be responsible for keeping the sites plumbing and mechanical building services operating safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) in accordance with SFG20.
- Maintaining commercial water services, sanitaryware, valves, pipework, pumps, TMVs, boosted water systems and drainage.
- Completing reactive repairs including leaks, blockages and pipework modifications.
- Undertaking relevant statutory inspections relating to water hygiene and plumbing systems.
- Identifying defects, raising remedial works and escalating safety-critical issues.
- Recording completed works accurately using the CAFM system.
- Supporting minor works, upgrades and site projects.
- Working in accordance with all health & safety, permit-to-work and environmental procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- We’re looking for a skilled and dependable plumber who takes pride in their work and has a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- A recognised Level 3 Plumbing apprenticeship/qualification.
- Previous experience in commercial plumbing, facilities maintenance or building services.
- Good knowledge of commercial plumbing and water systems.
- Sound IT literacy and the ability to use maintenance/CAFM systems.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A strong safety-first and compliance-focused approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work professionally both independently and as part of a team.
