About you
- Fully qualified accountant with over 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience supervising or managing finance teams for at least 1-2 years
- Solid understanding of UK and Irish tax regulations
- Advanced skills in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis
- Experience with mid-tier ERP accounting software
- Strong leadership and communication skills
What you’ll do
- Lead and nurture the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Manage month-end processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Prepare and present management accounts with analysis and KPIs
- Ensure tax compliance across UK and Ireland, including VAT, CIS, and RCT submissions
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits
- Analyse project financials to assess profitability and WIP values
