Hygiene Manager

Are you experienced in leading food hygiene teams?

Are you confident managing a team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?

Do you have a strong background in providing BRC ready food production facilities?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading food production business on the search for a Hygiene Manager. This is a FIXED TERM CONTRACT role based in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping the site ready for BRC audits, taking responsibility across all hygiene aspects.
• Organisation of training, creation of work instructions for existing and new kit brought on site.
• Identification of process cleaning requirements/improvements
• Management of the hygiene team

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone with knowledge of Food Hygiene Standards and requirements.
• Intermediate/advanced food safety qualification.
• Experience of managing a hygiene team.
• Health & Safety at work qualification.

Salary is up to £45k + benefits.
