Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform patrol inspections of in-process and final products to ensure they meet specifications
• Document inspection outcomes by completing reports and performance records
• Ability to liaise / communicate with the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence
• Look over the production process to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, data, manuals, and other documents to determine specifications
• Perform dimensional checks and reports
• Raise and close out snags as required
• Pneumatic pressure testing of silencers and tanks
• Control of route cards

Qualifications / Skills

• Proven work experience as a Fabrication Shop Inspector or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of fabrication processes
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Good technical skills
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and safety
• Ability to communicate and liaise with the customer
• Ability to work as part of a team and to contribute to team moral
