Safety Officer – Hybrid, Risk & Compliance Leader

Somerset Council Health and Safety Team is seeking a Safety Officer to help shape and maintain a strong safety culture across council services. You will provide practical guidance, deliver trainings, carry out inspections and investigations, and support managers to implement safe working practices that protect staff and the public.

Based in Somerset with flexible and hybrid working arrangements, the role offers a Grade 11 salary of £33,673 to £37,563 per annum and a 37-hour week.
