Pertemps Bristol Industrial seeks HGV Class 1 Drivers for full-time, temporary positions in Avonmouth, operating from Severn Beach. This ongoing role offers consistent work beyond the festive season with a 5-on/3-off rota, flexible across Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Day shifts start between 05:00 and 09:00, paying £18.74 to £21.89 per hour.
A bonus scheme runs from October 11th to January 3rd, paying £90 weekly, with £50 paid immediately and £40 banked for scheme completion, subject to attendance and performance.
Duties involve delivering white goods like washing machines and fridges—a physically demanding task. Drivers must handle varied goods, perform multi-drop deliveries, and maintain professional standards.
HGV Class 1 Day & Night Drivers – Full Time Ongoing – consistent work past Christmas
Location: Severn Beach, Bristol
Shift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off but can be flexible with shift patterns (Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday)
Full-Time | Ongoing Work Bonus Scheme: Running from October 11th – January 3rd. £90 paid per week for each week worked — £50 paid within the week, with £40 banked and paid at the end of the scheme. This is dependent on absences, incidents and delivery performance.

- Delivering products including white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers (not palletised)
- Handling TVs, microwaves and other electrical appliances (some palletised)

Night Drivers Pay Rate: £19.79 – £21.89 per hour Start Times: Between 17:00 – 21:00 or 21:00 – 00:00 No handballing

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience – (Can accept with less experience if booked onto a day with our training academy)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
- Experience using curtain-sided trailers and securing palletised loads
- Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and compliance
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling where required
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Able to commit to a long-term ongoing role
